Sonia’s insights are cutting edge with much of it supported by quantum physics. Her work bridges the gap between science and spirituality in a simplified format. She is the author of The Holographic Canvas: The Fusing of Mind and Matter published in September 2008 and her second book, A Journey of Possibilities published in 2014.
Sonia Barrett is the founder of Timeline Publishing & Media Relations and publisher of Bridge Reality Magazine. She has presented workshops and lectured at such conferences as the Alchemy Conference, Conscious Life Expo the ISSSEEM conference and shared panels with such respected minds as Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Amit Goswami and Dr. Jacob Liberman. Sonia Barrett is also the executive producer of the documentary The Business of Disease, which premiered at the Laemmle Theater in North Hollywood, CA on November 2014.
She is also the publisher of the book Health: An Inside Job an Outside Business, which serves as a supplement to the film (each chapter is written by those in the film).
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Executive producer Sonia Barrett and Dream Spell Productions premiered a groundbreaking documentary The Business of Disease last year at the Laemmle NoHo7 Theater in North Hollywood, CA. Named best documentary in the Marina Del Rey Film Festival in December 2014, the documentary presents a compelling case for individuals to be self-aware and to take control of their overall health and healing. The 88-minute documentary explores what the producers call the “hypnosis of marketing” – a belief system that has evolved over many decades about healing that generated and perpetuated by the marketing arms of the drug and medical industry; the meaning behind Business of Disease. Alongside a group of spiritual leaders, speakers and doctors the producers aim to present an alternative view of self-care and a holistic approach to healing. The film aspires to educate individuals on their understanding of healing in addition to learning about the body’s natural ability to heal. The documentary traces the reasons why individuals and society have abandoned self-care and it doesn’t just dwell on the marketing of disease, but also on the social and environmental systems that teach people to avoid self-care and holistic approaches. The purpose is not to dismiss the contribution of science but to understand the limitation of science as compared to a holistic approach that encourages self-care with a deep rooted understanding of the body, mind and spirit.
